SATE '11 Orlando Conference Committee
Co-producer of panel "The use of technology to create a personalized experience in a group environment"

Steve squandered his young adulthood waterskiing, stiltwalking, and unicycling for the Walt Disney Company as a way to work through college. Though he tried to delay it as long as possible, Steve graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and from Rollins College with an MBA. Later Steve became licensed as a professional engineer, real estate broker, specialty electrical contractor, private pilot and emergency medical technician, and earned certificates as a lifeguard & BLS instructor and amateur radio novice.

Upon engaging the real world, Steve worked as vendor project manager during the Universal Studios Florida and Disney-MGM Studios development, as Universal Studios Show Manager for the Islands of Adventure project, and as Walt Disney Imagineering Project Manager during the 100 Years of Magic, California Adventure, and Epcot Millennium projects.

Currently Steve is a happy husband and father of three, and has been responsible for business development at Birket Engineering, Inc. since 2001. Steve was TEA’s 2008/2009 Eastern Division President and is currently a member of the International Board.
