Carmen Aguilar attended the New York Institute of Technology, where she received her Bachelor of Architecture degree.

In over 20 years with the firm, Carmen has consistently been a pioneer into new disciplines, such as education, health care and museum exhibits.

Carmen oversees a multifaceted design studio that focuses on unique projects and works across a broad spectrum of project types. In the past year, she has celebrated the opening of two ground-breaking projects: the Walt Disney Family Museum, in San Francisco, and Imagination Playground, in Lower Manhattan. Her other projects include a new children’s hospital in New York, the Maple Leaf Sports Bar and Grille in Toronto, the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, several private residences, Comerica Park in Detroit, offices for McCann Erickson in New York City, the New York offices for Foote Cone Belding, store environments for the Midwest-based retailer Meijer and the Carlton Hotel in New York.
