Cale Heit joined Forrec’s Toronto headquarters in 1993 as a Landscape Architect. Since joining this multi-disciplinary, international design firm, Cale has been involved in a full spectrum of leisure and entertainment projects, encompassing a wide variety of program components and levels of investment.
As a principal and project director, Cale has led interdisciplinary project teams for some of the most significant leisure and entertainment projects globally. These include; Universal Studios Singapore, Sentosa, Singapore; Universal Studios Dubailand, Dubai, UAE; Dollywood Mystery Mine Attraction, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, USA; and Legoland Günzburg, Germany (Malaysia and Florida), to name a few.
Cale fosters a collaborative approach and brings a valuable cultural sensitivity to every Forrec project. Multi-disciplinary teams that have worked with Cale consider him a dynamic and inspirational project leader and Clients feel that he advocates on their behalf – a difficult balancing act but one that produces happy project teams and successful projects.
He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Guelph. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Landscape Architects, the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions and the Themed Entertainment Association.
Cale enjoys spending time with his family especially at the cottage where there is always a pet project on the go.
